We consider your health and safety as our number one priority and follow relevant NSW Health guidlines and increase their requirements where we feel they will benefit you. We are only servicing our known and trusted clients and currently only accepting new referrals via telehealth or on compassionate grounds, in-clinic with Clinical Director approval, suitable screening and negative COVID-19 test within the 48 hours prior to the appointment. External contractors are limited to trusted equipment providers for essential supply who undertake surveillance testing. Prior to entering our clinics, staff and clients must:

  • wear a mask;
  • hand sanitize and have a temperature check; and
  • QR code in.
Our staff
  • have received 100% first vaccination and 86% second.
  • undertake weekly surveillance testing
Our clinics:
  • have masks and hand sanitiser available
  • have dedicated entrances
  • have dedicated bathroom facilities
  • are cleaned regularly throughout the day by our own staff (incl. common touch points)
  • therapy resources are cleaned after each use
  • social distancing and capacity limits are applied.

Is there convenient parking?

Yes. We have street parking just outside, with wheelchair access if required. We are happy to assist you from your car to our clinic.

Do I need a referral form my doctor?

No you do not need a referral to see any of our therapists. However, a referral from a Doctor might give you access to a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan or Mental Health Care Plan both of which provide you with 5 x Medicare rebates.

What documentation do I need to provide?

We like to have a copy of any previous therapy or relevant doctor reports prior to an initial assessment, this helps our therapists tailor their assessment to your individual needs. A copy of your NDIS goals also helps us work with you to create individualised goals.

What should I wear?

Whether you are seeking our adult or paediatric services we recommend you wear something comfortable and loose that allows you to move freely.

What ages do you treat?

We treat all ages through our two divisions

Child First Therapy 0 - 18

Rehab on the Move 18+

Are your therapists experienced?

We have a collaborative team structure that sees our experienced therapists leading our therapy teams to provide supervision and mentoring to our younger new graduate programs. Our Clinical Director oversees therapy and drives our professional development program which includes a mix of internal and external learning, including oversight of the indivdual, shadowing by the individual and regular collaborative discipinary learning sessions. Our clinics have large open plan areas to allow shared multi-disciplinary experiences in addition to private treatment rooms.

Will I get a report after my visit?

We do recommend each client receives a report after their initial assessment, however, this is done on a person by person basis so if it is not appropriate for your circumstances we may not.

Do you do SDA or home mods?

Unfortunately we do not currently have any therapists who provide this service.

How do I know if I or my child/person needs therapy?

Therapy may be required for a variety of different reasons. But at the core we would recommend that if you see that you, your child or person you are caring for are having difficulty with any of the following we would recommend seeking an appointment:

  1. Difficulty with movement, mobility, or general gross motor skills we would recommend physiotherapy
  2. Difficulty with every day self care tasks, fine motor skills, fussy eating, play skills, emotional regulation or behavioural difficulties we would recommend occupational therapy
  3. Difficulty with communication, speech and language, or feeding we would recommend seeing a Speech Pathologist

How long is your waitlist?

Our waitlist can be anywhere between 2 weeks and 4 months.

Availability depends on:

  • diagnosis;

  • discipline/s required;

  • whether you are happy to see any therapist;

  • location (in-clinic is quicker, commnuity therapy requires a therapist to be in the area); and

  • importantly time of day.

The more flexible you can be, even initially, the quicker we can commence therapy.

Do you use evidenced-based practice?

Yes! We believe strongly in delivering therapy that is based in the latest research and evidence-based practice recommendations. Our practice is based heavily on our company values; Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence. Delivering evidence-based therapy relates directly to our values or Excellence and Accountability as we are committed to providing the highest care and holding ourselves accountable to our clients and their goals as well as what the research tells us is best practice.
