Therapy may be required for a variety of different reasons and your GP or other regular health provider can advise you; but at the core, we would recommend that if you see that you, your child or person you are caring for are having difficulty with any of the following we would recommend seeking an appointment:
1. Difficulty with movement, mobility, or general gross motor skills we would recommend physiotherapy
2. Difficulty with every day self care tasks, fine motor skills, fussy eating, play skills, emotional regulation or behavioural difficulties we would recommend occupational therapy
3. Difficulty with communication, speech and language, or feeding we would recommend seeing a Speech Pathologist
We do complete SDA assessments and reports and provide Occupational Therapy assessment and recommendations for minor home modifications.

We like to have a copy of any previous therapy or relevant doctor reports prior to an initial assessment, this helps our therapists tailor their assessment to your individual needs. A copy of your NDIS goals also helps us work with you to create individualised goals.
